Roman Reigns Says He Doesn't Worry About Fan Backlash - An Excellent Audio Interview Inside

Reigns Birthdate: 05/25/1985 (age 29) Height: 6'3" Weight: 265 Ib A member of the Anoa'i family, a renowned Samoa...

Roman Reigns spoke with Sam Roberts last weekend before the Royal Rumble. Check out the highlights…

On fans criticizing him for being shoved down their throats: “I’m aware of all of these things. You have to look at it through many different perspectives. For me, as a provider and as a man, I have a responsibility to provide. I can’t look at it like and get down on ‘oh, this is what they’re thinking and this is what they’re saying.’ To be honest I really don’t care. I can only do my thing and do the best that I can. The majority of critics, I would say, are people who have no clue what they’re talking about and have never been in a wrestling ring. They’ve never been a public speaker. They wouldn’t even know how to lock up with me if I allowed them to. If I gave them the opportunity to lock up and tangle with me in the ring, they would have no clue what to do so for them to critique or ever say anything about any performer is asinine and just blows my mind.”

On WWE’s booking of him: “It’s one of those situations where obviously the company is gonna do what the company does and the fans are definitely gonna do what they do. That’s what’s so great. The fans have to realize that as opinionated as y’all are in the way you want it, the company is the same way and they’re gonna do what they wanna do…at the end of the day I’m just a guy getting rich.”

On his paying attention to criticism: “I see all of my criticism. I’m in a position now that I get a ton of love which is great and a ton of criticism which is great. As long as I’m in people’s mouths that’s all that matters to me. As long as people are talking about me…The majority of the time…the people that are critiquing and bashing me, they’re making me more relevant, I would think. If you didn’t want me around then just don’t talk about me and try and make it silent out there. That’s not the case [because] they make it even more overwhelming. You know, noise is noise. That’s the thing.”

The Rock Discusses A Possible Match With Roman Reigns, If Sting Will Return To WWE And More

CBS 19's Chris Van Vliet in Cleveland, Ohio recently interviewed The Rock. Below are some highlights and a video of the interview:

The Rock on his WrestleMania 30 appearance: "By me not posting anything (laughs). I came in literally hours before and it's one of those things where it was a very last minute decision. It was an amazing night and there's no greater feeling as a performer than that connection with an audience."

The Rock's thoughts on if he think Sting will come back: "I do, yeah. And I know a guy or two so we'll just put it like that. I do think he's going to come back and I think it's going to be great."

Does The Rock thinks a match with Roman Reigns makes sense: "I don't know if that match makes sense now because he is not their top heel right now, so you would look at that. Unless I went in as a heel and he was a babyface."

The Rock Speaks On One More Match, Sting In WWE & Wrestling Roman Reigns

The Rock sat down with Chris Van Vliet from CBS-19 in Cleveland to promote his latest movie Hercules. He was asked about Sting being in WWE, Roman Reigns and of course the possibility of one more match. Check out the highlights down below:

Would He Ever Face Roman Reigns?

"I don't know if that match makes sense now because he's not their top heel right now, so you would look at that. Unless I went in as a heel and he was a babyface."

His Thoughts On Sting Being In WWE: "I do, yeah. And I know a guy or two so we'll just put it like that. I do think he's going to come back and I think it's going to be great."

If He Did Return To The WWE, Would It Be For One Match Or A Full-time Run?

"It's all of the above. The one match three or four years ago that I started talking about with Vince then turned into a three year run. So who knows? I would love to go back and figure it out. After last year's WrestleMania the idea was I was going to set up a great match with myself and Brock Lesnar but then I got hurt so that plan got cancelled. He is now in plans to do something with ba da da da which I'm not going to say (laughs) but it should be a cool match. So whenever I do go back, if it is a match it's just got to be right in terms of who is the marquee value player that really makes sense and at that time when I went back John Cena was the number one guy in the world so we have to see."

Roman Reigns Injury Update - Did He Suffer A Concussion?

Partial Source: Pwinsider.com

UPDATE x 3: As previously reported, Roman Reigns was injured during a live event in Glasgow this week. He received a deep cut over his right eye after a collision with Randy Orton in their main event cage match. There were some who worried that Reigns got a concussion, but he seems to be doing fine now. The concerns were alleviated over the past twelve hours.

UPDATE x 2: Here is a video of the Roman Reigns vs. Randy Orton match from the WWE live event in Glasgow. This is the match where Roman Reigns' eye injured occurred. We know it's not the best video, but if you look closely around the 4:45 mark, Reigns charges out of the corner and goes for a spear on Orton. Randy turns it into a powerslam and the two of their heads slam together. Reigns immediately started bleeding following that spot.

At the 4:40 mark in the video above, Reigns charges from the corner to spear Orton, however Orton looked to turn it into his powerslam at the same exact moment, causing them to knock heads.

UPDATE: Roman Reigns tweeted the following photo of his eye injury. This looks like something right out of a UFC fight. Holy shit ... OUCH man!

ORIGINAL: Hugh McStay sent this one in: Just back from the Glasgow WWE show tonight. In the main event, Roman Reigns looked liked he got banged up in a botched spot in his cage match with Randy Orton. Reigns was charging from the corner to spear Orton, who looked to turn it into his turning bodyslam. There was some misunderstanding and it looked as though they clashed heads, leaving Reigns pretty bloody. They finished the match (an awesome final five minutes), but Reigns looked pretty out of it.

Jim Ross Praises Roman Reigns + Cesaro/Cena Mat...

Jim Ross has posted his latest blog entry. Check out the highlights:On Roman Reigns: "Roman Reigns winning with his spear over Mark Henry was big...no pun intended. If I had to pick an early favorite to either be the WWE World Champion at WM31 or to win the title there, it would be Reigns. How Roman Reigns is 'built' going forward is imperative to the long term success of WWE as it relates to constructing the next, major, WWE superstar."On John Cena vs. Cesaro: "Loved the Cena vs. Cesaro...
