Update On Booker T's New Role With WWE, Last Week's WWE RAW Rating Is In, & More News

-- The December 22 episode of RAW, which had a Christmas theme, had a 2.56 (2.6) cable rating, which was down from the 2.66 rating in the two weeks before it. It had 3.631 million viewers, up from the 3.521 million it had the previous week.

-- Booker T joined the announce team for Main Event on the WWE Network. He joined JBL and Michael Cole.

-- As noted earlier here on the website, Adrian Neville is the next WWE main roster call up, but it likely won’t happen until spring 2015.

Meanwhile, NXT officials are preparing to place Neville in singles feuds with both Hideo Itami and Finn Balor. The possibility of a NXT title triple threat feud with Neville, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn has also been discussed.

Last Friday Night's WWE SmackDown Rating Is In, Survivor Series Dominates Google, & More News

-- According to Google statistics, WWE did over 200,000 Google searches for their Survivor Series pay-per-view on Sunday. That came in at #3 behind Iggy Azalea and Odell Beckham Jr. as they were featured at the MTV Movie Awards and the New York Giants NFL game.

-- WWE's reasoning for the Survivor Series post-show not airing is simply because the pay-per-view ran long as they already had content scheduled to air and didn't want to mess up their schedule.

-- WWE added a new feature to the WWE Network that allows subscribers to access content from WWE's official YouTube channel. You can check out a list of content that is available at WWE.com.

-- UPDATE: The Friday, November 21st WWE Survivor Series "go-home" edition of SmackDown scored a final 2.11 (2.1) cable rating, which was up from the 1.93 rating that the show drew the previous week. Friday's SmackDown averaged 2.878 million viewers, which was also up from the average of 2.715 million viewers who tuned in the previous week.

-- ORIGINAL: It was good news for the WWE SmackDown rating today. Last Friday’s episode drew 2.88 million viewers and a 0.9 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up 6% and a tenth from last week’s 2.72 million and 0.8 demo rating. The episode had the highest SmackDown viewership since the July 18th episode drew 2.89 million and the highest demo rating since the June 27th episode also drew a 0.9.

This Week's WWE RAW Rating Is In + Last Friday Night's WWE SmackDown Rating & More

Last Friday night's WWE SmackDown broadcast drew a final 1.93 (1.9) cable rating, up from the previous week's 1.86 (1.9) cable rating.

UPDATE: Monday's WWE RAW broadcast scored a 2.75 (2.8) cable rating, even with last week’s number.

ORIGINAL: Last night’s episode of WWE RAW drew 3.77 million viewers and a 1.23 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Thus numbers are down 4% and 12% respectively from last week’s 3.93 million and 1.4 demo rating.

The show did hours of 3.90 million, 3.78 million and 3.64 million viewers. The household rating will be available later.

For you MMA fans out there, Bellator announced today via press release that Saturday’s Bellator 131 event peaked at 2 million viewers. The show averaged 1.24 million viewers, which makes it the second highest rated cable MMA event of 2014. The UFC Fight Night: Machida vs. Mousasi event did 1.4 million viewers, but that also had a NASCAR lead in. The show had steady ratings growth through out and peaked with the Ortiz vs. Bonnar main event.

The last non-UFC event that pulled in 2 million viewers at any time during it’s broadcast was the April 17th, 2012 Strikeforce: Nashville event.

-- Friday’s episode of WWE SmackDown rebounded from the lower numbers of the past several weeks. The show drew 2.72 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the 18 – 49 demographic. Those numbers are up 12% and a tenth from last week’s 2.43 million and 0.7; they represent the highest numbers since the October 3rd show drew 2.75 million and the October 10th episode also had a 0.8 demo rating.

-- Several indy wrestlers from Tennessee will be working as extras on tonight's WWE RAW in Roanoke and tomorrow's SmackDown TV tapings in Knoxville.

New TNA Tag-Team Champions Crowned, The Final TNA iMPACT! Rating Is In, X-Division News, More

-- The following are the main news items coming out of this week's TNA iMPACT! Wrestling:

* Samoa Joe vacated the X Division Title to sell his injury angle. A new champion will be determined next week on Impact in a four-way match featuring Low Ki vs. Tigre Uno vs. D.J. Zema vs. Mannik.

* James Storm & Abyss captured defeated The Wolves to capture the TNA Tag Titles. The match was set up when Davey Richards refused to join James Storm's offer to join his heel faction, which led Storm to cash in his Feast or Fired Briefcase. Abyss is now part of Storm's group.

* Gail Kim and Taryn Terrell will face Havok in a three-way match for the Knockouts Title next week.

* There will be a confrontation between TNA World Heavyweight ChampionBobby Roode and Bobby Lashley next week.

-- UPDATE: The final ratings numbers for last night’s episode of iMPACT! Wrestling are in. The event drew a household rating of 0.84 (0.8). This is an increase from last week’s rating of 0.75 (0.8). As reported earlier, the show averaged 970,000 viewers, compared to last week’s 930,000 viewers.

This was the highest rating iMPACT! has scored since October 8.

The Final Rating Number For Monday Night's WWE RAW Broadcast Is In - Details Inside

UPDATE: This week's WWE RAW broadcast scored a 2.71 (2.7) cable rating, down from the 2.77 (2.8) cable rating the show drew the previous week. The show drew an average of 3.75 million viewers as previously reported. That is not a good number following the WWE Hell in a Cell PPV. They did face a Dallas Cowboys vs. Washington Redskins game that went to overtime but it's still not a good number at all. For those wondering, the NFL game on ESPN drew 18.8 million viewers.

ORIGINAL: Monday night’s episode of WWE RAW was up in viewers and the 18 – 49 demo rating, though it edged down just a hair in the household rating. The show drew 3.75 million viewers and a 1.23 demo rating, up 1% and 3% respectively from last week’s 3.70 million and 1.2 demo rating. The household rating was a 2.71, down less than a tenth of a percent from last week’s 2.72.

The show did hours of 3.87 million, 3.84 million and 3.53 million viewers and was the highest-rated non-football original show on cable programming for the night.

TNA iMPACT! Rating Is In + Gail Kim Goes Skydiving (Video)

-- The Thursday, July 10th edition of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling on Spike TV scored a final 1.02 (1.0) cable rating, according to Nielsen Media Research. The 1.02 final number is the same number that the show finished with the previous week.

iMPACT! Wrestling on Thursday averaged 1.284 million viewers, which was down slightly compared to the 1.325 million viewers who tuned in the week before.

TNA iMPACT! Rating Rises + Slammiversary Preview Video

-- Thursday night's episode of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling scored a 0.89 (0.9) cable rating, with 1.01 million viewers. Those numbers are up 6% and 1% respectively from a 0.84 and 993,000 the previous week.

The show scored a 0.3 rating in the 18 - 40 demographic, continuing a string of 0.3's that began on April 17th. The show has VERY tough competition with game 4 of the NBA finals featuring the San Antonio Spurs vs. Miami Heat. That game turned out to be a blowout though so that likely helped TNA a little bit.

RAW In Spain Rating #'s, Mick Foley News, Bret Hart Q&A

-- Mick Foley recently spoke with Valley24.com about his appearance in Youngstown, Ohio. He said: "I can give everything and not have to worry about a late-night emergency-room visit. So it's like being in the ring without getting hurt."

-- The May 24 episode of RAW in Spain did a 2.0 share with 202,000 viewers. Last week's episode had a 2.3 share with 204,000 viewers. The May 24 episode of Smackdown had a 1.9 share with 211,000 viewers while last week's episode had a 2.7 share with 253,000 viewers. This week's episode was in competition with the F1 Grand Prix Monaco, which had a 30.9 share.

This Week's WWE RAW Rating Is In - OUCH!

UPDATE: Monday night's WWE RAW broadcast drew a 2.72 (2.7) cable rating, with an average of 3.76 million viewers.

ORIGINAL: Monday night's episode of RAW drew 3.76 million viewers and a 1.37 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 6% and 5%, respectively, from last week's 4.01 million and a 1.43 demo rating. It's the first time that the viewership has been below four million since the December 23rd episode.

The show did hours of 3.54 million, 3.90 million and 3.85 million viewers. The household rating will be available later.

This Week's WWE RAW Rating Is In + WWE Stock

-- WWE's stock price dropped $0.29 today to $17.83 per share. It was a 1.6% decrease. This is the first time WWE's stock closed below $18 since January 14 of this year.

-- UPDATE: The final cable rating for the Monday, May 5th post-Extreme Rules edition of WWE RAW came in at a 3.02, down seven percent from the previous week.

As previously reported, Monday's RAW averaged 4.29 million viewers, which was also a slight decrease compared to last week's show.

Hour one of Monday's RAW averaged 3.96 million viewers, while hour two averaged 4.41 million and hour three averaged 4.45 million.

-- ORIGINAL: Monday night's episode of WWE RAW drew 4.28 million viewers and a 1.43 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 7% and 19% respectively from 4.61 million and a 1.77 last week; it continues the pattern of the past few weeks where it has wildly veered up and down from week to week.

-- Friday's episode of WWE SmackDown scored 2.67 million viewers and a 0.8 rating in the 18 - 49 demographic. Those numbers are down 2% and even with last week's 2.76 million viewers and an 0.8. The show was up against NBA playoff games, which may have factored into the minor slip.

TNA Live Event Tonight + Early TNA iMPACT! Rating #'s

-- TNA will hold an event in Winston-Salem, North Carolina tonight. Here is the official lineup:

*Tables Match: Bobby Roode vs. Bully Ray
*Ethan Carter III vs. Willow
*TNA Tag Team Championship: BroMans (C) vs. The Wolves
*James Storm vs. Gunner
*Magnus vs. Mr. Anderson vs. Samoa Joe

-- This week's episode of iMPACT! Wrestling had such a low rating that it failed to make the top 100 cable shows for the night in the 18-49 demographic. In fact, the three episodes of Cops that lead into iMPACT! actually beat it onto the list.

The show had 1,010,000 viewers, down from last week's 1,415,000 viewers. This is the lowest audience for the show since March 20, when it had 997,000 viewers.

This Weeks TNA iMPACT! Rating Drops - Details

Thursday night's episode of TNA iMPACT! Wrestling drew a 0.86 (0.9) cable rating, with 997,000 viewers. Those numbers are down 15% and 21% from a 0.99 (1.0) and 1.21 million the week before.The numbers are the lowest since Thanksgiving night and likely slipped due to very tough competition from the NCAA basketball tournament.

-- The February 28th edition of WWE SmackDown drew a 2.05 (2.1) cable rating, which is up from last week's 1.95 (2.0) cable rating. The show averaged 2.796 million viewers, which is up a little from last week's 2.729 million viewers.-- As noted earlier, The Undertaker was not at RAW, even though he was advertised.

-- The 3/3 WWE RAW did an average of 4.58 million viewers. The first hour did 4.67 million viewers, the second hour did 4.62 million viewers and the third hour did 4.44 million viewers.
