Former WWE Talent Says Madusa Should Be In The WWE Hall Of Fame - Read His Comments

Lance Storm has a new article on StormWrestling.com arguing that Debrah Miceli, aka Madusa/Alundra Blayze, should be the next woman inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.

Storm wrote, “Miceli broke into wrestling in 1984 and retired when WCW shut down in early 2001. Over those 17 years she worked full time for a major wrestling company for 14 of those years. She was both a manager/valet, and a widely respected wrestler. Her resume stacks up with the absolute best of the best, having succeeded in countless promotions in the US as well as in Japan.”

As to why she isn’t in yet (and we all know that reason), Storm addressed it, saying, “The only reason I can come up with to deny her, her spot in the WWE HOF is possible heat left over from her dumping the WWF Women’s Title into the trash on WCW Nitro. While I can see that being a sore spot, WWE has since employed Eric Bischoff, the guy who hired her and made her do to it. Hulk Hogan has also been welcomed back into the fold and given his rightful spot in the HOF, and certainly his role in the Monday Night WAR against WWE was much more damaging than Madusa’s.”

The ROH vs. TNA 'Talent War', No 6-Sixed Ring Yet, Hardy

-- At Friday night's TNA live event in Jamestown, New York, the company was still using their four-sided ring. The six-sided ring will be returning full-time on next week's TNA IMPACT! broadcast from New York City. The Jamestown, NY show on Friday drew close to 1,000 fans.

-- As noted earlier, Matt Hardy's final dates with ROH are expected to be this weekend (tonight) unless something changes and he signs a new contract. The company was not happy with him working TNA's recent New York City TV tapings.

The ROH vs. TNA competition continues as several sources insist TNA has been talking with ROH talents without contracts behind their backs. TNA wants Kyle O'Reilly and Bobby Fish, known as reDRagon, to come in and feud with The Wolves. As noted, ROH is on a very strict budget by Sinclair Broadcasting so some ROH talents aren't under contract. With that being said, don't expect a big "bidding war" between the two companies as Sinclair wouldn't take part in it.

Dragon Gate Talent Will Not Be At WrestleMania Weekend

Gabe Sapolsky posted the following statement on his facebook page tonight:

We apologize, but it looks like there will not be Dragon Gate talent on the shows next weekend. This has been an ongoing situation for a while. It is not between us and Dragon Gate. Our relationship remains strong and DGUSA will continue and will feature Dragon Gate talent in the future. This has been a daily thing where every day we think something was about to break. Now the clock has run out. We owe you a complete explanation and will have that on Monday. In the meantime, we know you only care about two things- what the lineups are going to be and how we will make this up to you. We took the first step as a precaution by booking Masato Tanaka to face Chris Hero on the Friday night DGUSA show. We need to thank Highspots for making this possible. We are now finalizing the rest. We will have word to you on Monday.

I personally apologize and am very embarrassed by this entire situation. As an organization, we deeply apologize. The bottom line is that we will rebound and we will have amazing shows in New Orleans with a talented, exciting and dynamic roster. We will give you a great experience and present events that you will always remember fondly. We appreciate and value your patience. We would have said more earlier, but this is something where we literally thought there would be a resolution and announcement on a daily basis. I realize this is not a suitable explanation for some of you and will accept the criticism and try to make it right. It is the best we can do right at this moment. We'll give you the entire story on Monday when we have everything situated. I will be around for all your questions and comments on Twitter and here on Facebook after we release the lineups and explain what happened. Thank you for all your support and we will make this right on the biggest weekend of the year.

NXT Talent Debuts New Look + WWE's TV Negotiations

-- WWE NXT talent Solomon Crowe debuted a new look during a match with CJ Parker at Saturday night's NXT live event in Starke, Florida. Crowe wound up losing to Parker.

-- As noted earlier here on the website, WWE's discussions for their television rights package has as of late included AMC Networks, Viacom, Time Warner and 21st Century Fox. The talks with Viacom, if they pan out, would be for Spike TV which would leave TNA without a TV contract. Viacom has reportedly not yet renewed their deal with TNA, which expires around the time that WWE's contract with NBC/Universal is done.

Time Warner's talks would likely be for TBS and/or TNT, while the 21st Century Fox discussions would put them on FOX Sports 1 in an attempt to grow that channel. It would see WWE and UFC have all their cable content on the same channel.

The new deal should be announced at the end of April or early May.
