Finn Balor Possibly Injured At A Recent WWE NXT Live Event?, Details Inside Here

There are some reports that claim Finn Balor suffered an injury during a triple-threat match with Hideo Itami and Adrian Neville at the NXT live event in Cocoa Beach on Friday night. After the match was over, Balor left to the back in a hurry and was apparently noticeably limping.

We will keep you posted.

For those who always ask me about pay-per-view streams, I’ll throw this out there with the WWE Royal Rumble pay-per-view tonight. We are not affiliated with this website at all but I use FightsJunkie.com. Basically you sign up for an account, make it ‘elite’ (it’s like $15 or something for the entire month –  the WWE Network, all PPVs (WWE, TNA, UFC, all NFL games (during the season) on Sunday, etc.) and you get a HQ Quality stream. It works every time for us and never skips. Again, we’re not affiliated with the site but I always get asked so here you go.

Mark Henry Injured - Details Inside Here + News On Christian's Retirement From WWE & More

11550134 large Birthdate: 11/29/1949 (age 65) Height: 6'0" Weight: 243 Ib Jerry Lawler serves as the play-by-play comment...

-- As noted late last night here on the website, it was not an error when WWE Hall Of Famer Jerry "The King" Lawler referred to Christian as retired on Monday's edition of RAW.

While Christian never got the chance to cut a "retirement promo" like Edge did, it has been reported for a while now that Christian's in-ring career is likely over, and Lawler's comments were pretty much confirmation of that.

Christian had to call it a career due to suffering a number of injuries, and more specifically -- concussions -- forcing him to end his active in-ring career. He has approximately a year left on his WWE contract.

-- Mark Henry has been off of WWE TV since the November 24th edition of Monday Night Raw. Today on Twitter, Henry confirmed rumors that he has beem out of action due to an injury…

New Jersey Indy Promoter’s Sons Critically Injured In A Car Accident - How You Can Help

Source: Pwinsider.com

The two sons of New Jersey independent wrestling promoter Mike “Morgan” Virulet were critically injured in an automobile accident. Virulet promotes ACE wrestling and ran the ACE Arena in Union City, New Jersey which is where several indy promotions (such as CHIKARA, WSU and WWNLive) held shows. WWE Diva AJ Lee had many of her early matches at the arena as well.

According to sources, Michael Virulet Jr., 20, and Adrian Virulet, 11, were walking home from seeing a movie on Saturday when a car ran off the road and struck them on the sidewalk. Both were critically injured; Michael Jr. has lost his leg and underwent brain surgery while Adrian was impaled by an iron fence in the collision. The driver sped off and has yet to be identified. Virulet’s fifteen year-old daughter managed to avoid being struck by the car.

Authorities are investigating the incident and have described the car as a red Nissan Rogue with tinted windows and heavy damage to the passenger-side front end. It is missing part of the front passenger fender and headlight. Anyone with information that can assist them should call the Hudson County Sheriff’s Office at (201) 915-1300.

The local wrestling scene has set up a GoFundMe campaign to offset the heavy medical bills, with $8,121 raised so far. If you would like to donate, you can do so here. It should be noted that the promoter is known as good guy and is well respected among indy talents. There have never been any issues with him paying talent and that's pretty rare on the indy scene to be honest.

On behalf of everyone here on the website, we send our best thoughts to the Virulet family.

Top WWE Star Injured + Mark Henry Returns & Turns Heel

Partial Source: Pwinsider.com

As expected, Mark Henry made his return to WWE on Saturday night at the live event from Madison Square Garden in New York City. During the main event, Henry returned as one of Ric Flair's lumberjacks for the John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt main event. Triple H also had his own lumberjacks to back up Bray Wyatt. Basically, Flair and his lumberjacks were in the corner of John Cena while Triple H and his lumberjacks were in the corner of Bray Wyatt.

During the main event, Henry turned heel and threw Cena into the ring post. Towards the end of the match (Cena defeated Wyatt), Flair and Bray got into it and Wyatt was busted open and bleeding badly. As he headed towards the back after the match, his entire face was covered in blood. Despite the injury, Bray is NOT expected to miss any in-ring time. A few stitches and he'll be good to go!

Here is a report from the WWE-MSG main event. A full report from the entire show is posted on the main newsboard.

John Cena vs. Bray Wyatt. The Lumberjacks were everyone who worked the show plus Mark Henry, Great Khali and Titus O'Neill, so there were 16 total (8 for Flair and 8 for Triple H). No Rusev. Triple H and Ric Flair each had their own entrance. HHH tried to cut a promo but Flair took the mic and that led to them grabbing the mic from each other until Bray's entrance began. They went back and forth battling. When Cena was tossed to the outside, the heel lumberjacks all put the boots to him. Bray did it again and Cena had the boots put to him before they tossed him back in. Bray drilled Cena with a DDT for a two count. Cena mounted a comeback but was caught In a sleeper. The loudest reaction all night was the back and forth chants for Cena during this sequence. Cena fought him off and nailed a tornado DDT off the ropes. He backdropped Bray over the ropes and the faces all worked him over. Wyatt was tossed back in the ring and Cena did all his standards but was freaked out by the Wyatt Spider Walk. Bray nailed an Avalanche one the corner and went for Sister Abigail but Cena escaped and went for the AA. Wyatt caught him with a Urange for a two count. Wyatt tossed him out where Henry caught him and out him back in. Cena was nailed with a back sentom splash for a two count. Wyatt attempted a Superplex. Cena slipped down and nailed a sitdown powerbomb but was pulled out by the heels before he could score the pin. The heels attacked him and faced off with the faces. There was a huge brawl. Cena did a dive off the top onto the Lumberjacks. They brawled to the back. Cena went to grab Wyatt but HHH kicked him and nailed a Pedigree. He told Wyatt to make the cover but Flair rolled in and kicked Wyatt low. Flair and Bray faced off. Flair peppered him with punches including a stiff one that busted Bray open above the eyebrow, which began bleeding. He chopped Bray but was taken down with a punch. HHH instructed Bray to pin Cena so he went for Sister Abigail but Cena turned it into an STF and scored the submission. Fun main event with both guys working super hard despite their insane travel the last 24 hours.

Notes: Byron Saxton was the ring announcer and did a fine job. Why they never use Howard Finkel here is beyond me. It would add something unique and special and Fink was the best of all time, but that's just me....They were selling new shirts for Bray Wyatt and The Usos as well as signed photos of The Usos, John Cena and Sheamus...Michael Hayes worked the show giving music and production cues.....There were a few video flubs early in the show.
