Jim Ross Writes A Blog On Sting At Survivor Series PPV Rumors, Brock Lesnar's UFC Return & More

Ross jim3e Birthdate: 01/03/1952 (age 62) Height: 5'10" Weight: 250 Ib Jim Ross is an American professional wrestling ...

The following are highlights of the latest blog by WWE Hall Of Famer Jim Ross:

On Sting possibly appearing at Survivor Series: "My Twitter timeline lit up Friday night with the conveniently, timed info/rumor that Sting would make a 'surprise' appearance at Sunday's WWE Survivor Series. I have no idea it that's true or not and I'd have preferred if the info, true or not, would not have leaked out. I'm not a major fan of the "Jardine's" aka spoilers. I'm a Sting fan from back in the day and believe that if his first and perhaps only match in WWE is at WrestleMania 31. The man has earned a WrestleMania Moment without question."

On his prediction for the Survivor Series main event outcome: "If forced to make a prediction, I'd go with Team Cena winning the Survivor Series main event Sunday in St. Louis which provides WWE the opportunity to truly set the reset button and create some new scenarios that are due with the build to WM31 beginning to commence. If so, Im curious to see how HHH and Steph are repositioned as WWE needs star power and they provide that more than many of the talents."

On rumors of a Brock Lesnar return to UFC: "My thoughts on the possibility of Brock Lesnar returning to the UFC have seemingly resonated among some. Lesnar is a true jock....not an entertainer....and in the UFC he can be involved in a main steam sport of which he covets while still making big money for working few times a year. I think the amazingly gifted athlete longs for the competition and to see what's left in the tank after his battles with diverticulitis. Perhaps with the additional TV dates that Lesnar has agreed to is for him to lose the WWE Title on Monday Night RAW where the most fans would see it. Who knows?"

As I noted earlier, WWE World Heavyweight Champion Brock Lesnar is not currently scheduled for any events for the remainder of 2014. It should be noted that Lesnar's appearance were scheduled months in advance. Lesnar has competed in four pay-per-views this year, which is the most pay-per-views he's competed in a calendar ever since he made his return in May in 2012..

It's possible that Lesnar may work the Royal Rumble pay-per-view next January, but with no storyline for him at the moment as well as his pricey contract, that remains to be seen.

News On Brock Lesnar's Return On Monday's RAW Broadcast + Bray Wyatt's Injury At MSG

-- Another source has confirmed that Brock Lesnar is expected to return at Monday's RAW from Miami, FL. As previously reported, this is the same city/arena that Lesnar turned and took out John Cena. Monday's show is the "official" kick-off to WWE SummerSlam and is expected to begin the feud between Cena and Lesnar. Of course, they could also do a Reigns/Lesnar feud as Cena isn't expected to be at RAW. Rapper Flo Rida will also be appearing live.

-- 98.7 The Fan in Tampa, Florida recently interviewed WWE Superstar Bray Wyatt, who discussed receiving a stiff shot from Ric Flair during the recent WWE house show in Madison Square Garden. Below is an excerpt from the interview where Wyatt discusses getting busted open by Flair. The full audio is available at the above link.

"I look at it as an honor. Madison Square Garden. Ric Flair. John Cena. At the end of a long, long, long war, a little [bruise] is not so bad. I'm used to having stitches and things all over my body, so I didn't even know I was bleeding. I thought I was blind!"
