There has been talk in WWE about the in-ring career of Goldust ending. Word is that he will end his run as a wrestler in the next few months, moving to a role as a backstage agent/producer. His team with Stardust will slowly fade out and Stardust will become a singles wrestler.

This change isn’t expected to happen until after WrestleMania 31. While there was talk of Goldust vs. Stardust happening at some point, there’s no word on if the match is planned.

Goldust Denies Reports That His In-Ring Career Is Ending, WWE SmackDown Ratings, Daniel Bryan

-- The Thursday, January 22nd, WWE Royal Rumble "go-home" edition of SmackDown averaged 2.814 million viewers. The number was up from the previous week's show, which drew 2.675 million viewers. SmackDown was the number one rated show on cable for Thursday night.

-- WWE's upcoming Daniel Bryan autobiography will be released on Friday, April 3rd to coincide with WrestleMania.

-- Goldust is denying reports that he's planning to retire after WrestleMania:

VIDEO: Matt Hardy Says TLC Matches Shortened His Career

Matt Hardy recently appeared on The Roman Show, and spoke about the TLC matches shortening his career. Here is what he had to say…

"Whenever human flesh and bone get slammed on steel like ladders or chairs, or tables, all that stuff, TLC's or cages, the flesh isn't going to win. Those matches beat you up and take a toll. It is what it is. Professional wrestling isn't ballet. Those were very tough grueling matches. It definitely took a toll on us. They took time off our career I'm sure and they beat us up for many years down the road. With that said, those are the matches that made us famous.

DDP Speaks Out - Jake Roberts Documentary, Career, & More

The Wrestling Podcast Network recently interviewed Diamond Dallas Page. Below are some highlights:

DDP on his wrestling career: "I lived the dream in a different level. I was the anomaly in terms of Star Trek, an anomaly means this is not supposed to happen."

On the goal of the Jake Roberts documentary: "Our goal is to not just make a movie. Our goal coming into this movie is to do an Oscar nominated documentary. That's our goal. Whether that becomes true or not remains to be seen. I would love to do something with the WWE when it comes to it."
